Three bursaries for young Delegates of actuarially emergent countries will be provided.
The Bursary recipients are not required to pay the registration fee.

Selection Criteria:
- Preference will be given to speakers or authors of papers. Preference will be given to residents of countries with a Gross National Product (GNP) lower than US $15,000 per capita.

- Bursaries will only be applicable to travelling expenses (hotel accommodation for up to 4 nights and up to €1000 towards travel expenses). Travel expenses will be paid to attendees following the event, subject to bursary recipients providing the AFIR 2008 Colloquium Organising Committee with a copy of their airline ticket. Hotel is paid directly by AFIR Colloquium Secretariat.

- Completed bursary application forms must be returned to afir2008@italian-actuaries.org by May 31, 2008.

- The Organising Committee will make the final decision on the selection and amount of bursaries awarded.
